Attention is a currency of its own. You pay it on a regular basis to certain things, you give it away to a good cause, you invest it. And like with money, it’s scarcity creates an economy. Where do you spend your attention? Are you disciplined or aware of where your attention is going?

This piece is made from a quarter, hammered so the face is faded because I believe this type of currency is fading away and attention is becoming the relevant currency. The centerpiece is surrounded by malachite beads because the layered green is reminiscent of dolla bills.
