I love the water metaphor because water just is the way is, it doesn’t have to try to be water. It implies that rigidity is something imposed on yourself, not something you are. As you flow through life, doing you, experiencing love, hate, sorrow, joy, rage, etc., your expression changes your surrounding path. These changes are natural, part of the circle of life. It’s when people damn the rivers that the ecosystem gets fucked. *sighs zenfully*
